The Dragon City Bahrain is another large-scale commercial and trade platform developed by CHINAMEX following the Dragon Mart Dubai which focuses on Chinese enterprises and Chinese commodities, and integrates the re-export, wholesale and retail of Chinese branded goods. The Dragon City Bahrain does not only target local market, but also its neighboring markets like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar. It opened on December 27, 2015, with the then Prime Minister of Bahrain H.H. Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s official declaration by hitting a Chinese gong. 

The Dragon City Bahrain mainly consists of four components: a market of 50,000 m2, a transfer warehouse of 50,000 m2, a food street of 6,000 m2 and over 300 Dragon City apartments.

The Dragon City Bahrain is first project developed at Diyar Al Muharraq island, a mega urban mixed-use project developed by Diyar at a cost of billions of dollars on a 12 km2 reclaimed land in Muharraq, northeast to the capital of Bahrain. The Diyar Al Muharraq integrates residence, commerce, hospital, health, entertainment, education and retail.
