The highly anticipated "Dragon World Saudi Arabia (DWSA)" held a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Rimal Center in Riyadh on 26 September 2024, marking the inauguration of the project. 


Mr. Hao Feng, Chairman of Dragons Holding Company was joined, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, by Mr. Mohamed A. Alsaheb, Deputy Minister, Sector Investment Development Deputyship of the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA).  Witnessing this significant event were Chinese and Saudi officials and business leaders, as well as media representatives from China and Saudi Arabia.


During the ceremony, Mr. Hao Feng stated that more than 300 Chinese enterprises are now showcasing their products for sale in the "Dragon World Saudi Arabia".  He indicated this is a special achievement following the "Dragon Mart Dubai" and "Dragon City Bahrain" projects as the Saudi market is of strategic significance to China. 


Mr. Osama Khajah, Vice Chairman of Dragons Holding Company, declared that the cultural performances in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including traditional Chang'an music, lion dance and martial arts performances, fully demonstrated the unique charm of Chinese culture. 


Mr. Zheng Shuo, CEO of Dragons Holding Company, pointed out that DWSA will bring a unique business experience to Saudi Arabia, and the project is highly consistent with Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030".

Short videos related to the event became viral on social media platforms including Tiktok and X, with over a million views in a few days’ time and growing.
