CHINAMEX and Shanxi CIG International Construction Group Co.,Ltd. (“Shanxi CIG International”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on 6 June 2025, with presence of leaders from both sides. 

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanxi Construction Investment Group Co . , Ltd . (Shanxi CIG), the largest state-owned investment and construction group in Shanxi Province, Shanxi CIG International focus on overseas engineering and construction projects. Shanxi CIG is a large-scale comprehensive construction group company in China, and is one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises, one of the top 80 Chinese contractors, and one of the top 250 international contractors in the Engineering News Record (ENR), and also a AAA main credit rating enterprise. The company has a total of 13 special qualifications for general contracting, more than 60 Class A design qualifications and more than 160 first-class qualifications for general contracting and specialized contracting.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will give full play to their respective professional advantages in the fields of Dragon World Saudi Arabia platform, overseas market development, local projects facilitation, industrial cooperation, international trade, investment and financing, engineering construction and other fields. The two sides will be market-oriented, adhere to the cooperation concept of resource sharing, equality and mutual benefit, and complement each other's strengths, and will carry out extensive cooperation in the specialized fields of Dragon World Saudi Arabia leasing, market development in the Middle East and other regions, engineering construction, import and export trade of building materials and bulk cargoes, establishment of overseas warehouses, and design and EPC projects.
