In 2022, the Chinese President's visit to Saudi Arabia opened a new chapter in the relationship between the two countries. The two nations signed an implementation plan for the integration of the 'Belt and Road' initiative with Saudi Arabia's '2030 Vision', which accelerated practical cooperation in investment, trade, and infrastructure.  This has layed a solid foundation for more Chinese companies to invest in Saudi Arabia.
